Peru's Education!
Public education is free and it is required that you go between the ages of 6-12. Many schools lack the basic materials to have a good school experience. Right now the literacy rate is higher in kids than adults because they are sending their kids to school more often now. The classes they study the most are math, language, literature, and history.

This is a picture of the plaza of one of the bigger university's in Lima,Peru. Only families with the means to do so (money, car) can afford to send their kids to private schools or universities like this one.
However, these schools are nicer and the education is way better.
